This Pickup features a custom coil design with rod magnets of equal length which are slightly raised above the flatwork. This provides a balanced magnetic field resulting in an even string response necessary for today's strings. The custom coil winding provides extra output with extremely responsive sound and long sustain. This pickup is a direct replacement and requires no guitar modification.
