Because of the nature of glazing clay, the underside of the slide is unglazed.

Size Advice:

You can play slide on any finger, but normally it is played on the ring finger or the little finger. If you are thinking of buying as a gift, the medium is a safe option as, if it is too small for the ring finger, then it should fit on the little finger.
