Ibanez 2021 Made in Japan AZS2200 Prestige, Black (Pre-Owned)

The AZS2200 is an AZS series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It is produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The AZS2200 is among the initial models in the Fender Telecaster-inspired AZS series.

The AZS2200 features an alder body bolted to an S-Tech roasted maple neck with an S-Tech roasted maple fingerboard with 22 stainless steel frets, abalone dot position markers, and Luminlay side dots. Components include a Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge with pivots on 2 posts, a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups with a Tele-style Alnico II Pro single coil mounted askew in a steel plate at the bridge and a Magic Touch mini-humbucker at the neck, an oil-impregnated bone nut, and locking Gotoh tuning machines with height-adjustable posts.

The AZS2200 employs a dyna-MIX5 switching system with an "Alter switch" toggle which allows the user to access five distinct tones. The controls consist of a single volume and tone, a 3-way lever pickup selector and the "Alter" toggle.
