Following many years of trading at our Otago street premises, we are pleased to announce that Jimmy Egypt’s Guitar Repair Shop business will very soon be moving to distinctive new premises at 615 Great Western Road . We have spent the last few months restoring the property and have evolved our brand to reflect our extended business parameters and family involvement. Our new business will be launched under the new name:-
“Jimmy Egypt & Sons – Musical Instruments”
When we open for business, as well as offering our acclaimed Guitar repair service, our portfolio of retail stock will include a carefully selected and what we believe is an exciting range of electric and acoustic guitars, ukuleles and banjos, ancillary instruments and accessories from many great and historic brands.

We have acquired the Old Travel Agents situated at 615 Great Western Road
We pulled the wallpaper from the wall to find some old pannelling that will work great for the Guitar Repair Shop
This wall needed to come down. So we let out some steam with a sledgehammer
A frame we built in place of the wall to make a storage room for the Guitar Repair Shop
After taking the old ceiling down, we found a beautiful old Cornice which will work as a great feature for the shop after a good scrub and paint
