The history of the dreadnought shape precedes Takamine’s establishment in 1962, yet it remains a crucial part of Takamine’s rich heritage, symbolising the classic acoustic guitar. Takamine has been meticulously crafting this revered shape for over five decades, a favourite among iconic musicians.

This hand crafted, limited edition all black dreadnought features a solid spruce top with maple sides and back and comes in Takamine's exquisite black gloss finish and white binding.

It also includes Takamine's retro-inspired CTF-2N preamp, based on the vintage Takamine "Brownie" FET preamp. As a limited-edition guitar, the FT341 is manufactured in limited numbers, capped at 300 pieces worldwide.

The FT341 features a carefully selected, high-grade solid spruce top, providing clear and vibrant sound projection that can play sweet mellow passages or power chords with equal ability. 

Presented in Takamine's exquisite black gloss finish and white binding, it features appointments that are much like the iconic EF341SC. Eye-catching chrome hardware and Gotoh chrome tuning machines combine stunning visuals with unparalleled performance.

Rosewood fingerboard
The smooth-as-silk rosewood fingerboard accommodates sleek, easy playing and ornate inlay fret markers give it an elegant finishing touch.

Maple back and sides
The maple back and sides are a perfect reflector for the tone generated by the solid spruce soundboard, producing a dynamic, wide-range sound with rich tonal projection and tight response.

CTF-2N preamp with 2-band EQ, tuner & notch filter
For the FT341’s electronics, we return to our early roots with the new CTF-2N preamplifier which revives the sound of our early FET preamp model, affectionately known as the “Brownie”. The CTF-2N has that legendary sound, while adding the more modern functions of easy battery access, a chromatic tuner, and a notch filter.
