This pickup has much more output than a vintage pickup. The sound is fat and full with strong midrange and bottom end response. The coil is extra sensitive and combined with custom length flat pole pieces, it picks up the faintest string vibrations for more sustain. The tapped version lets you switch between a brighter sound and a fuller sound. This pickup is a direct replacement and requires no guitar modification. Wiring schemtic and mounting screws is included.
