The soundboard is made from high-grade western red cedar, and the back and sides feature high-quality African mahogany. Open-Pore Finish leaves wood pores exposed, which preserves the natural acoustic properties of tonewoods. The combination of these high-quality solid tonewoods and finish produces a beautiful musical sound across the entire tonal range with slightly pronounced lows. Furch Blue CM guitar features Open-Pore Finish, a special thin finish that promotes the natural sonic qualities of tonewoods and provides an excellent level of surface protection. The finish accentuates low frequencies and produces a natural woody sound.

Alongside Furch's proprietary techniques, one of their CNR high precision, dual-action truss rods maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.

This model is fitting with a LR Baggs Anthem. At the heart of the LR Baggs Anthem is a revolutionary microphone engineered to faithfully capture the sound of any live performance with the same dynamic parameters as a studio microphone. The TRU•MIC mounts to the underside of the bridge plate and hovers only three millimeters above its surface. This patented mounting system, combined with noise cancellation, allows the microphone to perform as efficiently as an external microphone would in a studio, and maintain a remarkable ability to suppress feedback on stage. The result is a balanced frequency response with excellent clarity for the purest amplified sound. The Element pickup is paired with the TRU•MIC to provide solidity and punch for low frequencies. Installing the Anthem is a non-invasive process, which means that no cutting or drilling into the guitar body is necessary. The control panel is attached with adhesive in the soundhole. Apart from volume and microphone trim controls, there are LED lights indicating the remaining battery life.
